We are honored to offer a variety of classes in the Jacksonville Beach area.
We teach a variety of styles, including; Yin, Prenatal, and Power Vinyasa Flow. Our classes are customized to the population that we are serving. Whether we are on the beach or in the studio, Jax Beach Yoga takes a holistic approach when working with clients. Our instructors will work with you through; mind, body, and heart to bring a unique experience to your practice. We offer a family friendly environment to practice yoga and connect with your community. Our desire is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for all levels of experience. Come try one of our classes!
Meet the team
Liana Redshaw is a native of the Chicago-Land area. She is the owner and founder of Jax Beach Yoga. She is a certified 200 RYT and is in the process of completing her 500 RYT. Liana has received specialized trainings in prenatal yoga, chair yoga, and yin yoga.
Lianas mother first introduced her to yoga when she was 15. She continued doing yoga on and off throughout college, while completing her Bachelors degree in social work. It wasn’t until Liana moved to Florida that her passion for teaching yoga really began to develop. While living in Florida, Liana has worked with several social services non-profit organizations. Through these experiences, Liana was exposed to several different populations throughout North Florida. She found that she was most passionate about working with underserved women and teenage girls.
Lianas teaching style in yoga deeply reflects her passion for the divine feminity and desire to empower women. Her classes are a blend of meditation, asana, and uplifting mantras. Her classes are designed to leave her students feeling empowered and connected to their true self.
Liana decided to create Jax Beach Yoga as a way to make yoga more accessible, and to connect with powerful women within her community. Liana believes in the practice of karma yoga, all classes taught on the beach are donation based. She also regularly hosts fundraising classes for local non-profits. Jayme Hillyer is a Jax Beach resident and Jacksonville, Florida native. She received her 200 HR RYT in 2011 and has been continuing her education and teaching yoga ever since. She was trained in the Baptiste power methodology originally, and has added other styles to her repertoire such as restorative, yin, and Acro yoga, guided meditation, and in 2015, received a certificate of training from the Christina Phipps Foundation to teach yoga for cancer patients in all stages of treatment and recovery. Jayme believes the transformational practice of yoga brings endless possibilities to the lives of practitioners and those around them.
Lindsey is a Nebraska native and has been in the Jacksonville area for 8 years, now living in Atlantic Beach. After experiencing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth in her personal yoga practice, she completed her 200hr certification in 2013 and discovered a deep passion for teaching. Lindsey aspires to teach yoga as a means to help others heal themselves and break through personal limitations. Lindsey incorporates power vinyasa flow, restorative yoga, meditation, and deep breathing exercises to create personalized sequences and continues to expand her knowledge while following her passion to live a life enveloped in yoga.
